John graduated from Rutgers University in 1991 with a BA in Psychology and in 1996 with an MS in Human Resource Management. He has held a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute since 2007. In his last role, he served as the Human Resources Director at TMS International. A $1 billion-dollar international company that provides various services to the steel industry.
Outside of his TMS tenure, John has worked in logistics, the service industry, and manufacturing including the food industry and heavy construction. Throughout the career, his greatest asset has been his ability to develop and implement solutions to difficult business problems.
John has some outside-of-work interests including serving on the Washington Crossing Council, Boy Scouts of America’s Executive Board (Board of Directors), and chairing their Human Resources and compensation committees. He recently retired as an NCAA division 2 football referee. His officiating career culminated in 2022 with a D2 regional championship game in Big Rapids, MI.
