This summer, PeopleShare by PROMAN was proud to sponsor a new youth golf initiative, launched as part of the annual Summer Enrichment Program by Better Tomorrows. The program brought together physical activity, mentorship, and skill-building to create a powerful and lasting experience for local youth.
Better Tomorrows is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities through data-driven, outcome-based programming. Their Summer Enrichment Program provides structured, engaging activities for youth living in affordable housing communities across the region.
"It was very rewarding to see these kids step out of their comfort zones and try something new,” said Mike Poalise, Branch Manager of PeopleShare’s Cherry Hill office. “Golf teaches patience, respect, and perseverance; skills that go far beyond the course. We’re proud to support Better Tomorrows and help bring programs like this to life.”
Throughout the program, participants received hands-on instruction from dedicated mentors and instructors, learning everything from proper grip and swing technique to course etiquette. But more importantly, they discovered the values that golf fosters: sportsmanship, focus, and camaraderie.
For many of the children, this was their first experience with the sport, and it opened the door to new confidence and connection. With Better Tomorrows leading the way in programming and PeopleShare by PROMAN providing funding to help bring it to life, the initiative exemplifies what’s possible through meaningful partnerships.
PeopleShare by PROMAN is honored to play a role in creating impactful experiences that help shape brighter futures for the communities we serve.
